My Breakthrough sessions are different every time - it very much depends on what the person wants to get out of it. Sometimes people have a particular issue that they want to be free from, others want to give themselves more direction in life - they just feel stuck. Typically, the format is as follows: History taking: How long have you had your problem, what is your family like, when do you "do" your problem and when don't you. Values Elicitation: This is a nice technique to find out what you really want and what are your self limiting beliefs. Time Line: Regression under trance to go back to the first significant event connected with your issue and self limiting beliefs, so that we can reframe these memories and clear the effect they are having on your behaviour. I also like to clear the four negative emotions - Anger, Fear, Sadness and Guilt using this technique.
Parts Therapy: Sometimes people feel as if a part of them is behaving out of character, or that there are two parts pulling in different directions. Parts therapy involves coaching that inner part to behave in the way that is best for your greater good. Future Pacing: Visualising yourself behaving differently in the future as you want to be, combined with general hypnotic language to glue everything together.
Occasionally it is more beneficial to stop after two or three hours to allow the unconscious time to process the learning. If we both feel it is better to stop and continue the session on another day, there is no extra charge.
